The Next Generation Of Krakow Startups Is Promising
After months of program preparation and an extensive recruitment campaign, there were twenty applications submitted to the Dragons Cave Pre-Accelerator. The growth program for early-stage startups will develop promising local teams over the course of 6 expert led-workshops, one-on-one mentoring and conclude with a demo day during Krakow Startup Week 2019.
The applications show that the future of the Krakow startup community is very promising. The applicants were tackling a diversity of problems with in industries ranging from hardware to cryptocurrency, marketplaces, and platforms along with medtech. The decision on who to accept into the program proved difficult based on the quality of the applications.
Lead Mentor Selections
Each Lead Mentor selected a startup with whom they will work with throughout the program.
Wiktor Warchałowski – Walle
Walle is a home assistant with a built-in voice assistant for controlling all home automation devices.
Szymon Janicki – HabitCoach
HabitCoach makes mobile apps that turn self-help books into actions.
Dominika Walec – Acai
Acai uses machine learning to make automated crypto trading accessible to regular people without years of expertise in quantitative finance.
Bartosz Józefowski – eMosystem
eMosystem enables energy consumers to track consumption and get the best offers from suppliers
Richard Lucas – Self
Self helps people get fast and easy access to mental health care.
Wiktor Sarota – Reksio-Petkeeper
Reksio-Pet Keeper is helping people find the best pet sitter for their pets.

The #OMGKRK Team has also invited an additional four teams to participate in the Dragons Cave Pre-Accelerator workshops.

The #OMGKRK Team thanks all remaining teams for applying for the Dragons Cave Pre-Accelerator. Based on our capacity, we cannot accept additional teams in the program. However, #OMGKRK will be sharing relevant opportunities to all early-stage startups as they come along. In addition, #OMGKRK will attempt to put as much educational content as possible online on the Dragons Cave Pre-Accelerator landing page so make sure to follow along.
