At OMGKRK, we often say that connections matter. This story is a perfect example of how being visible, active, and engaged in the local ecosystem can lead to meaningful outcomes.
In November, OMGKRK facilitated a connection between Gaius-Lex, a legal tech startup represented by Witold Wydmański, CTO, and Ace of Space, a flexible office space provider represented by Michał Jędrzejczak, Sales Manager.
Just a few weeks later, the collaboration officially started — and today, both sides are already working together on a daily basis.
Gaius-Lex
Gaius-Lex is a Kraków-based legal tech company focused on automating legal research. Their platform helps lawyers significantly speed up the process of finding relevant laws, regulations, and court judgments.
Instead of manually searching through complex legal databases, lawyers using Gaius-Lex can prepare legal strategies faster and focus more on their clients rather than repetitive research tasks.
The company currently has a four-person team working from Kraków, with plans to continue growing.

Ace of Space
Ace of Space offers flexible office solutions as an alternative to traditional long-term leasing. Their services include private offices, coworking spaces, conference rooms, virtual addresses, and day offices for workshops or team sessions.
They operate in Class A office buildings across Poland, making high-quality office space accessible not only to large corporations, but also to startups, solo founders, and growing teams.
More Than Just Office Space
The visibility didn’t appear overnight. Ace of Space and OMGKRK had already crossed paths multiple times — during OMGKRK Summer Jam, at community hangouts, and through events hosted in Ace of Space conference rooms.
As Michał explained, visibility and relationships played a key role: “First relations, second business. That mindset works.”
For Gaius-Lex team, the new office quickly became part of their daily routine. “It’s very motivating to see an office that’s truly alive,” — Witold noted.
Advice for Building Meaningful Connections
Both sides shared valuable advice for anyone looking to build partnerships within the community:
- Be visible and proactive
- Attend events and meet people
- Focus on genuine conversations first
- Let business grow naturally from relationships
As Witold summed it up:
“The most successful connections started simply because we enjoyed talking to each other. Business came second.”
Community at the Core
This story is exactly why OMGKRK exists — to connect people, ideas, and opportunities in Kraków’s tech and startup ecosystem.
Sometimes, all it takes is: one newsletter, one conversation, and one open mind. And suddenly, a connection turns into a collaboration.
Stay tuned for more connection stories — and see you at the next OMGKRK event!
