Krakow has an incredibly diverse and dynamic startup culture with many active organizations dedicated to supporting the startup community. On any week, you can find almost-daily meetups and workshops across the city. Next week is especially noteworthy, as it is the annual Krakow Startup Week. The week commences on Monday, the 21st of October, with three amazing events.
Innovative Krakow Forum
Innovative Krakow Forum is an all-day event, striving to accelerate bold entrepreneurship and disruptive new technologies in 2020. Throughout the day you can attend a series of keynotes and panels which cover a variety of topics such as “Boosting Corporate x Startup Business” and “Attracting Capital and Investors.” There is also a designated “Matchmaker Zone” focused on facilitating structured networking and advancing your career. This free event is the place to engage with Krakow’s leading entrepreneurs and institutions, all in one place.

Krakow Enterprise Mondays
Continue the momentum into the evening and attend Krakow Enterprise Mondays, a free pro-enterprise meetup where students in Krakow meet entrepreneurs and alumni who have gone into business in a friendly informal setting. Many students are not aware of the career and enterprise opportunities available in startups, so Krakow Enterprise Mondays aspires to educate and inspire them to think about entrepreneurship as a choice and to help them understand the world of business. Students who are thinking about starting their own businesses, entrepreneurs who want to help, and anyone else who is curious is encouraged to attend. This week’s lineup of notable speakers includes Mateusz Nowak, Partner at Mazovia Capital and NXT Ventures and Michaeł Mojżesz, Founder & CEO at Archdesk.

Dragons Cave Demo Day
Monday evening is also the exciting grand finale for six hard-working teams of hopeful entrepreneurs. Leading up to Krakow Startup Week, six teams have gone through ten weeks of intense workshops and mentoring in preparation of their chance to pitch for their first funding and early adopters. At the culminating event, Dragons Cave Demo Day, each team will have five minutes to pitch their product and propose an offer for the Dragons, after which the Dragons and the audience will be able to ask questions to the founders. Be part of the excitement as the four Dragons decide if they will choose to accept the offers pitched.
