We invite you to participate in the EU Sparks for Climate: European Citizens Hackathon Championship, which will take place online from June 27-29, 2024.
Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our time and affects every aspect of our lives. The EU Sparks for Climate Hackathon is an excellent opportunity to engage in real actions for climate protection. Through the collaboration of citizens, researchers, and scientists, we can develop innovative solutions that will help combat global warming and its effects.
We welcome individuals involved in environmental activities, as well as researchers, scientists, and innovators who can propose solutions to climate challenges in Poland, Europe, or the region.
The prize pool, funded by the Krakow Technology Park, for the three winning teams is 5000 PLN. Additionally, two of them will participate in the EU final, where they will have a chance to win a team prize of 5000 EUR. Moreover, the winners will receive support in crowdfunding campaigns, access to a network of investors, and assistance in developing their solutions.
For more information and to participate in the program, you need to register on the website: www.eusparks.eu. The hackathon is simultaneously held in 22 European Union countries, with Krakow Technology Park sp. z o.o. responsible for co-organization in Poland.
Participation in the hackathon is also an opportunity to gain valuable experience, make new contacts, and receive support in implementing your projects.
If you have any questions, please contact Ludmiła Frydrych from the Krakow Technology Park at lfrydrych@kpt.krakow.pl.
We look forward to seeing you at the EU Sparks for Climate: European Citizens Hackathon Championship!
