Virtual Founders Breakfast is a monthly recurring early morning virtual event organized by the Foundation Supporting #OMGKRK bringing together startup founders, industry experts, investors along enterprises to generate growth, exchange best practices and facilitate matchmaking.
Each breakfast features an expert speaker engaging in conversation with founders exchanging their knowledge and experience on a selected topic. The event provides opportunities to facilitate valuable new connections and one-on-one access to decision-makers.
Virtual Founders Breakfast #6 aims to share knowledge on how scaleups can accelerate their internationalization including both boosting sales on foreign markets and optimizing internal processes and operations. Carlos Rubal of the pan-European EIT Digital network will share overall best practices and know-how relevant to all scaleups striving to gain traction internationally. Rafał Han will share specific case studies of how Silviar has worked with a board portfolio of international clients.

Carlos Rubal is a Business Development Advisor at EIT Digital, where he taps into 25 years of professional experience across Europe and the US – as a consultant and executive at firms like McKinsey, Microsoft, Indra or Aldesa, and as CEO of multiple SMEs – to help digital tech scaleups grow on an international basis. As part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), EIT Digital helps businesses and entrepreneurs to be at the frontier of digital innovation by providing them with technology, talent, and growth support.
EIT Digital operates through a pan-European ecosystem of over 200 top European corporations, SMEs, startups, universities and research institutes, where students, researchers, engineers, business developers and entrepreneurs collaborate in an open innovation setting, with physical offices in 17 European cities and a hub in San Francisco.
Krakow Technology Park invites scaleups to join the EIT Digital Accelerator, a tailored support program that helps acquire enterprise customers and channel partners across Europe, and raise equity funding from top European investors. Rafał Han is an experienced entrepreneur, advisor and investor. He successfully co-founded multiple startups (including futbolowo.pl, Duckie Deck, ciufcia.pl). 6 years ago, he decided to dedicate his professional life exclusively to Silvair, as the co-founder, BoD Chairman, and CEO.
Silvair is a Polish – American company listed on the Warsaw Stock exchange, that builds software solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT). Operating on the global market, Silvair is pursuing its strategic goal of becoming a leading supplier of modern technological tools for IoT applications. Currently, the company is focusing on developing a technology for lighting manufacturers and providers of intelligent building management systems. Their pioneering system for lighting control is present in multiple buildings around the globe.
Their broad portfolio of international clients in Europe, USA and Japan includes Osram, Sylvania, Zumtobel, Murata, Future Electronics, Fulham, Linmore LED and ERP.
