Entrepreneur Club #4: Up To Date Festival, Going & Off Radio Krakow
On October 18th 2018, the 4th edition of Entrepreneur Club was special because it occurred during Krakow Startup Week 2018 and marked the one year anniversary of the event cycle. Entrepreneur Club strives to bring together Krakow’s and Poland’s leading innovators and entrepreneurs working in creative fields to share knowledge, exchange networks and catalyze new ideas.
To match the occasion, the evening featured an outstanding lineup of speakers sharing knowledge and inspiration.
We started the night with David Powe-Bowman, one of the minds behind Szpitalna 1, the venue and partner of the Entrepreneur Club from the very beginning. This underground club is home to Poland’s finest and eclectic DJs and music producers, proudly provides the space for up-and-coming artists to showcase their talent as well.
Off Radio Krakow
Our first guest on the stage, Aneta Hudzik, a music journalist and PR Manager at Off Radio Krakow, explained to us a vibe and story of that place which combines freedom, good companion, and urban culture into radio station filled with programming by local DJs, producers, and journalist tied with niche types of music.
Going.
Filip Sarniak was speaking about Going as a multimedia platform and cultural events calendar. Did you know that they already sold more than one million tickets?
Attendees learned from Filip what services Going provides its users, what the main idea is and how it cooperates with partners and institutions including the organizers of events and festivals, among others, Up To Date Festival what brings us to the last special guest of the 4th Entrepreneur Club.
Up To Date Festival
Cezary Chwicewski comes to Szpitalna 1 directly from Bialystok, where he is co-creating the legendary Up To Date Festival which presents stages with different music genres ranging from (carefully selected) rap through bass music and techno to ambient and modern classical. That long-standing and award-winning project is even more incredible when you realize Podlasie region and meet Cezary who achieved his goal (but he never stops!).
The Place For Creators
The event brought together creative heads from the city to learn, engage, and collaborate in innovative and creative fields. As always, we stay a little bit longer for the Fresh Start cycle promoting upcoming music talents.
